SPRING 2013 PICK UP NOTICE from Ms. Lilly:
Bears Repeating from Last Week: Traffic Safety for Baseball, Softball, and T&F Season Please--please--please! We have entered into baseball and softball season and we need the cooperation of all drivers when our teams are on the field. The Bethany Road entrance will be blocked off during practices and games. I saw with my own eyes this past Wednesday that many people do not understand the meaning of cones. Cones across an entranceway mean “Do Not Enter!” not “Wow! Cones! Let me see how I can drive around or over them and then speed up!” We block off that entranceway for the safety of the players and for the safety of their younger brothers and sisters watching the game--please respect that and use the Hillcrest Road entrance when Bethany is blocked off. Also, if you arrive for a game and the roadway is not yet blocked, please do not park along the Bethany entranceway--park in the parking lot. Mrs. Contino has sent a similar request to the RE parents. The Track & Field team practices in the late afternoon when traffic is at a minimum, but if you are picking up at EDP or driving on school grounds for some other reason, please watch out for the runners. You can’t imagine how much we will appreciate your cooperation.
