Catholic Schools Week: Open House and Registration

All are cordially invited!

Open House: Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.


For those interested in admission to SBS:  

Registration:   Wednesday , January 29 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

  Thursday, January 30, from 7 – 8 p.m.


Along with the completed forms, we require the following of all applicants:


§          Registration/Application Fee of $250.00 made payable to St. Benedict School

§          Child’s original birth certificate (we will make a copy)

§          Child’s Baptismal certificate (where applicable)

§          Child’s immunization record

§          Parent’s driver’s license

§          Parent’s tax or utility bill as proof of residency


For students applying for Grades 1-5, we also require the following records as applicable to grade level:

  • Academic records (report cards and standardized test scores)
  • Behavioral records


In addition, students applying for Grades 6-7-8 must provide letters of recommendation from their current teacher and principal.   We will consider students for admission to Grade 8 only if they are transferring from another Catholic school out of the local area.


Please note that we do not consider applications to St. Benedict School on a first-come, first-served basis.   Rather, we evaluate applications on an individual basis, with the principal making the final decision.   You must first submit all necessary documentation before we will consider your child’s application.   You will be notified in March as to the status of your application.   If we may be of any other assistance, please feel free to call the school office at 732-264-5578.
