St. Benedict has a Prayer Shawl and Afghan Ministry. Parishioners who like to knit or crochet would be ideal ministers to pray while knitting/crocheting a shawl/afghan for a person who is ill or has suffered a loss or any other hardship.  Shawls are given freely with love.
